Control Logic offers a new range of PULS DC UPS devices designed to provide power backup for 24V and 12V systems.
A key benefit of the dual output DC UPS systems is that UPS costs are significantly lower in UPS devices that can power both voltages.
Dual output DC UPS devices are particularly suitable for remotely monitored systems such as water treatment operations that often require two supply voltages: 24V for the controller and 12V for the radio modem for data transmission.
PULS has developed the new line of dual output UPS devices specifically for such applications that demand a reliable supply of these two types of loads.
Requiring a single DC UPS and a single battery, both output voltages can be provided with power simultaneously in normal operation as well as during power failures.
DC UPS model UB10.245 has one 24V input and two outputs (24V and 12V), which are buffered with only one 12V battery in the event of a power failure. A key benefit is that the user saves on a separate power supply, a DC UPS and a battery for the 12V output.
Additionally, the output voltages are stabilised in normal operation as well as in a power failure without drop in voltage.
