RIKEN Keiki has introduced the smallest 4-gas monitor in the world, the GX-2001, available in Australia from Control Equipment .

Weighing only 170gms and the size of a standard business card, the GX-2001 simultaneously monitors combustibles, oxygen, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide.

The instrument is armed with standard features like auto-calibration, datalogging, rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries, a unique vibration alarm, STEL/TWA readings, peak hold and auto backlighting at alarm, on a large LCD display.

All of these features are operated through three simple, glow-in-the-dark buttons. Also available is an automatic calibration/data download station, to simplify calibration and record keeping.

The GX-2001 is designed around the world's smallest gas sensors. Utilising catalytic combustion, electrochemical and galvanic sensor technologies, each miniaturised sensor is manufactured under high quality control.

Typical applications for the GX-2001 are in confined spaces, refineries (petrochemical), utilities, chemical plants, water / wastewater treatment, fire services, mining, and pharmaceutical.

The GX-2001 has been certified to Australian Standards and carries SAA Certification AUS Ex 01.3746X.
