Compact pressure transducer family
CONTROL Components has announced the availability of a new family of compact 1000 Series pressure transducers from Gems.

These pressure transducers are designed for the OEM where small physical size and low cost are important.
From 25mm long, the transmitter features a sputtered thin film sensor to provide consistent high levels of performance and stability for large volume users.
As Gems Sensor's thin film sensor is atomically bonded onto metal substrate, the transmitter virtually eliminates drift - whilst offering enhanced sensitivity.
The Gems 1000 series is supplied in range from 16 to 2200 bar but with the onboard ASIC can be set to any intermediate range or engineering unit and has a very long fatigue life - offering more than 100 million cycles.
With a proof pressure 1.4 times full scale, a burst pressure of six times full scale they offer an accuracy of 0.25% full scale. They are available with a selection of BSP, NPT or metric process fittings and AMP Superseal, Mini DIN or M12 electrical connections.
Standard outputs include MV, 4-20mA and five other voltage outputs. They are ideal for the OEM where space is at a premium.
