TECHNO Trade SA, represented in Australia by Conlab , has released Tbox MS, a range of modular products based on a backplane rack architecture.
It is available in different sizes, allowing different types of CPUs, I/Os, power supplies, modems, serial ports, Ethernet ports and GPS to be inserted. Each assembly can be networked using the standard Ethernet or RS485 networks, providing flexible system topology.
The 32-bit CPU supports SSL-secured encrypted communications. The I/O modules support all standard industrial signals including digital inputs, relay outputs, 4mA-20mA inputs, 0V-10V outputs and temperature inputs. Some modules have a mixture of different I/O types to satisfy space and cost constraints. The racks are attached directly to a DIN rail or to a 19-inch bay.
It offers onboard Internet, is easily wired to external equipment and complies with international standards.
