Australian-made Nylon friction hinge


CONCEPT Latch, Lock & Hinge has introduced an Australian-made friction hinge.


Detent at 90º or 180º.

The hinge provides a detent position at 90° and 180° allowing a lightweight panel to stay open or closed under friction eliminating the need for a latch or door or lid stay.

Manufactured from Nylon, the hinge is available in black or white but can be made in any colour providing quantities of 5000 or more are anticipated.

The hinge requires only four countersunk screws and is front-mounting so is suitable for blind applications. The hinge has not only been used in this application but also in drink dispensing equipment, four wheel drive accessories, and enclosures for industrial machinery.
