COMSOL Australia has released the ServerLink IP, allowing network controllers to access servers from virtually anywhere in the world.
Operating through a standard Web Browser, the ServerLink IP delivers remote access from any net-connected PC, using the TCP/IP data packet format to provide the equivalent of onsite KVM switching.
By adding remote IP access to existing KVM switches, it is possible to manage, configure, troubleshoot and reboot remote servers. This minimises downtime and reduces travel costs and service calls.
The remote access device is a self-contained system that requires no proprietary software or licensing. 128-bit SSL encryption with an MD5 and DAA protected log-in screen ensures full data security between base controller and the remote server.
The ServerLink IP is designed for broadband operation but still operates satisfactorily over ordinary dial-up connection. Its low bandwidth consumption supports resolutions of 1280 x 1024 pixels at 60Hz. Video detection algorithms provide excellent remote video quality. The ServerLink IP is protected with easy flash memory upgrades and is covered by a full two-year warranty.
