Compu-Weigh's range of weighing scales
Compu-Weigh , an Australian company manufactures batch weighing machines. Batchweighers are weighing scales used for measuring large scale products. The batch weighing machines are classified into four types: linear, grading, check weighing, and combination.
The linear batch weighing machines feeds the product and controls the feeding rate. The feeding is through vibratory feeders or speed controlled betls. Weighing buckets in linear batch weighing machines are much larger than the target weight. All contact parts are made up of food grade stainless steeel or food grade rubber.
Grading batch weighing machines are typically graded by weights and are suitable for weighing fruits. Static check weighing machines are used to weigh cartons whereas combination machines feeds combines targets into the weighing buckets and then calculates precise combination product. Combination machines feeding methods are similar to linear machines. Feeding is done through vibratory belts or speed controlled belts.
Batchweighers are produced as single, multi, or in combination forms. The batch weighing machines can be applied on varied products such as cake mix, dried fruits, pasta, garlic cloves etc. Batch weighing machines are low in cost and are designed for manual and semi-automatic operations. Batch weighing machines are also referred under different names, such as net weight scale or gross weigh scale.
