Pneumatic grommets are able to seal a connection while allowing for significant movement of the tube. An extensive range of sizes are available and installation is simple.
The base of pneumatic grommets incorporate a groove that is suitable for sheet steel that is up to 3.0mm thick. Using the same penetration hole size means uniformity on design and neat lines on installation.
Installed pneumatic grommets provide full flexibility and allow tubes to move without causing damage or breaking the seal between the sheet and the tube and are fully self sealing meaing silicone is not required for installation.
Pneumatic grommets present a solution for penetrations through machine sides, solenoid panels, wall plates, etc. and is available in four sizes to suit 6, 8, 10 and 12mm pneumatic tube or electrical wires. Suitable for use with pneumatic tube or electrical wires, the grommets are IP66/IP68 rated and can tolerate temperatures of 260°C.
