EXAIR’s new digital ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) cabinet cooler system, available from Compressed Air Australia , keeps electrical enclosures cool while minimising compressed air use. The ETC cabinet cooler system can accurately maintain a constant temperature that is slightly under the maximum rating of the electronics, permitting enough cooling for the electronics without going cold and wasting compressed air.
The ETC cabinet cooler system incorporates solid state circuitry that detects changes in temperature. A digital readout LED displays the temperature of the electrical enclosure in °C or °F, then displays the user setting when the ‘push to set’ button is pressed. When the setting is exceeded, the ETC cabinet cooler system circulates -7°C (20°F) air through the electrical enclosure to prevent a high temperature malfunction.
ETC models for 120 VAC or 240 VAC are also available. The control has a strong polycarbonate plastic housing with sealed membrane push button control that is suitable for use in NEMA 4, 4X and 12 environments. The ETC cabinet cooler system installs quickly through a standard electrical knockout. All systems include an automatic drain filter separator to ensure that no moisture passes to the inside of the electrical enclosure. Cooling capacities up to 2800 Btu/hr. are available. The ETC cabinet cooler system is suitable for the following applications:
