Compressed Air Australia introduces a new range of super air knives from EXAIR featuring an extended length design and one piece construction.
EXAIR has expanded its long super air knives to include a maximum length of 108″ (2743mm) and is now manufacturing all knives 60″ (1524mm) and longer in a one piece construction, which ensures seamless airflow and eliminates the need to couple multiple short length air knives together. The one piece construction also decreases overall height by ½″ making it better for tight spaces.
Super air knives produce a laminar sheet of airflow to blow off, dry or cool wide surfaces up to 108″ (2743mm) wide. The energy efficient design minimises compressed air use by entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air, and is ideal for use on wide parts, webs and conveyors.
Available from Compressed Air Australia, long super air knives provide a uniform, high volume, high velocity curtain of air that is infinitely adjustable from gentle blowing force to a hard-hitting blast of air. The compact profile measures 45mm x 37mm with compressed air inlets located on each end and the bottom to permit easy mounting in tight spaces.
The quiet and maintenance-free long super air knife has no moving parts to wear out and is CE compliant. Available in 60" (1524mm), 72" (1829mm), 84" (2134mm), 96" (2438mm) and 108″ (2743mm) lengths, the long super air knives ship from stock in customer’s choice of aluminium, or Type 303/ Type 316 stainless steel. A factory installed plumbing kit is also available that makes it easy to connect long super air knives to any plant compressed air system and obtain the best performance.
