Low operating pressure drops ensures that compressors can operate at a lower working pressure than would be required with other compressed air filters. Reduced energy consumption is a benefit of lower working pressures.
Compressed air filters have a low resistance to air flow, therefore using minimal energy. Deep bed pleating, graded density media and an oleophobic coating provide a high performance filter element and differential pressure starts low and stays low throughout the life of compressed air filters.
With advanced housing and element design, compressed air filters provide a compact and lightweight filter that is easy to maintain, clean and do not require users to touch contaminated elements during annual element change. The compressed air filters are also coated with Alocrom and dry powder to protect against corrosion.
CompAir compressed air filters are offered in 5 variants to cater for specific requirements:
Type B – High efficiency general purpose protection
Particle removal down to 1 micron, including water and oil aerosols. Maximum remaining oil aerosol content: 0.6 mg / m 3 at 21 °C / 0.5 ppm(w) at 70 °F.
Type C: High efficiency oil removal filtration
Particle removal down to 0.01 micron, including water and oil aerosols. Maximum remaining oil aerosol content: 0.01 mg / m 3 at 21 °C / 0.01 ppm(w) at 70 °F.
Type D: Oil vapour and odour removal
Maximum remaining oil vapour content: 0.003 mg / m 3 at 21 °C / 0.003 ppm(w) at 70 °F.
Type E: General purpose dust filtration
Dry particle removal down to 1 micron.
Type F: High efficiency Dust Filtration
Dry particle removal down to 0.01 micron.
