ComOps , a leading Australasian provider of business software products and services, recently announced that it has secured a contract to deploy its Salvus safety, risk and claims management software at Workforce International, a leading Australian provider of industrial recruitment, labour hire, traffic control and road line marking services for private and public sector clients.
Salvus, to be deployed as part of Workforce International’s overall occupational, health and safety strategy, will enable the company to automate management of safety, risk and claims. This will enable the organisation to comply with the latest legislation, proactively manage processes for incident reporting and lower overall risk and costs for claims management.
The Salvus web-based solution will be implemented across the company’s operations in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia and will replace a time-consuming manual spreadsheet system for managing and reporting on incidents and injuries. “The system will better enable us to drill down through the data and rapidly analyse trends where we may have branch safety issues. We’ll then be able to take faster action to remedy the situation for the benefit our staff,” says Brett Condren, National OHS and Rehabilitation Manager, Workforce International.
Salvus will be rolled out in two distinct phases with the initial claims management and rehabilitation modules being deployed in June, followed by the deployment of the incident analysis module. The whole system will be operational by the end of August.
