ComOps has sold its ERP business, Korellus Enterprise Resources Planning, to Markinson Software Solutions.

The sale of the ERP business came after a review to reduce debt.

Under the agreement, ComOps will receive up to $4.2 million for business, split into $3.7 million in cash and $500 000 in deferred consideration.

Peter Wicks, ComOps chairman, said "the board is very pleased that ComOps has a proposal that provides employment and growth opportunties for the employees across Korellus ERP operations".

"The proposed sale will also allow ComOps to reduce debt and focus on building the company’s workforce management business that has growth opportunities both locally and globally.

"We remain fully committed to our workforce management solutions, staff, and continued investment in developing enterprise, mobile and cloud delivery solutions," Wicks said.

The acquirer, Markinson, provides configurable applications for mutil-facility wholesalers and retailers.
