Cognex introduces new operator interface panel

Cognex  has launched a new operator interface panel, VisionView 700, which  features a seven-inch (17.78cm) diagonal colour touch-screen display.

With 800 x 480 resolution, the widescreen format of the display allows a full resolution VGA image to be displayed with room available for operator buttons on right side of the screen.

The VisionView 700 has 5 Ethernet ports (1 LAN for connecting to Wide Area network and 4 dedicated sensor ports to connect Cognex machine vision systems directly).

The Ethernet ports additionally supply power to the Cognex In-Sight Micro vision systems through Power over Ethernet. It also has 3 USB 2.0 ports, allowing the operator to save filmstrip images to an external memory stick.

The VisionView 700 has 2 status LEDs indicating network traffic and power respectively. When mounted with the included mounting clips, the VisionView 700 provides NEMA 4 protection rating. An optional stand and dust cover accessory are available for convenient desktop use.
