CODEWAY will launch a range of products at Auspack 2005 to meet the needs of large and small businesses requiring powerful, flexible and cost-effective systems. The products include thermal and thermal transfer print engines and complete print and apply systems.
Codeway offers systems at 51mm, 104mm and 168mm. The 51mm size goes into a market that is not well serviced in Australia, with many companies struggling to use wider print engines. The Codeway units are purpose-built for the job, not adapted wide models.
The Codeway firmware includes all popular barcodes, multiple fonts, counters and digital inputs and outputs for machine control.
A wide range of applicator heads is available. The Air Blast system is particularly suitable for the food industry, providing contactless labelling onto sensitive goods.
Keypad is an accessory device that offers price lookup functionality to inexpensive print and apply units. It allows an electronic scale or counter to be added to the printers to provide a complete labelling system.
Prices are very competitive. Users can choose between three print widths, thermal and thermal transfer and multiple applicator heads. Codeway is also launching a range of automatic online dispensers for preprinted labels. A purpose-built 51mm model fills a much-needed gap in the market.
