A unique, modern and genuine alternative to traditional portable buildings, the Coates Hire wagon was introduced last year and has been rolled out in a number of locations across Australia.
The Coates Hire Wagon (CHW) site accommodation solution is suitable for a range of applications on various types of projects including infrastructure, civil, mining and events.
Recently, the Coates Hire wagon in a 5.7m variant was delivered to a client in South Australia. The wagon was supplied to Bardavcol Pty Ltd, a preferred contractor to the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) and a successful tenderer for the shoulder widening project on the Stuart Highway in South Australia.
The Coates Hire wagon is a completely self-contained unit and perfectly suited to remote sites such as the Stuart Highway.
Key features of the wagon include a crib room for up to 8 people, a toilet, waste and fresh water tanks as well as a 9kva generator. Lightweight and easy to set up and transport, the wagon can be moved along the site as required.
The 5.7m wagon supplied to Bardavcol is one of four different designs offered by Coates Hire. The 5.7m and 8.9m lengths join the Coates Hire fleet of wagons currently on hire in Vic, SA and QLD with WA deliveries rolling out over the next few months.
