Coates Hire has announced that they will be shipping an additional and crucial supply of equipment out to those affected by the recent bushfires in Tasmania.
Having a broad reach comes with many responsibilities, mainly in local communities around Australia. Up to 50 generators of all different sizes will be sent to fire affected areas around Tasmania to meet high demands and keep customers with power generation.
The Tasmanian Area Manager, Garry Brown believes that the demand on power division has been huge and has outstripped the current supply level. Therefore not only have portable generators from Victoria been transported but a site has been highlighted for affected residences to use in the short term until the dangers have passed. This site will include buildings with kitchen facilities, air conditioning, and toilets.
“It is important that we are able to make a contribution to the communities in which we operate and we take pride in giving back to the Tasmanian people who have supported us over the years. This is just one of the many ways Coates Hire supports the Tasmanian community in which it operates,” concluded Mr Brown.
