The industrial water treatment and recycling solutions provider, Clearmake , was announced a finalist for the Telstra Business Awards. The Managing Director, David Lumb, has been recognised as a finalist for the 2008 Management Excellence Awards.
David Lumb purchased the Clearmake business in 2007 and invested in its growth and development. A mechanical engineer and MBA graduate, David Lumb took strategic approach to the business to provide more certainty in an uncertain business environment.
David Lumb purchased the business as a result of its tremendous potential. Clearmake was respected within the industry because of its structure, experience and a clearer focus to keep up with increasing demands.
The professional, experienced and skilled team structure and support in apprenticeships, junior mentoring and performance monitoring. The business plan, goals and results are regularly shared with the team and a profit share incentive was introduced to further motivate the group as a whole.
Winners for both the Telstra Business Awards and Management Excellence Awards will be announced later this month.
