Clean Oil Services Pty Ltd has been named a finalist in the 2012 Premier’s Sustainability Awards.
Given by the Queensland Government, the Premier’s Sustainability Awards aim to recognise individuals and organisations that show vision, innovative thinking and ability to bring about behavioural changes.
The 2012 Premier’s Sustainability Awards attracted 130 entries across 11 award categories. Clean Oil Services entered in the category for Waste Reduction and Resource Efficiency, featuring its innovative Lubemaster oil cleaning and filtration equipment supported by its pro-active oil analysis and condition monitoring service, which together provide a safe and cost-effective alternative to changing and disposing used oil.
The innovative Lubemaster oil cleaning equipment can keep oil in good operating condition and extend its life substantially or even indefinitely, resulting in considerable savings in lubrication and maintenance expenditure in addition to reduced environmental impact. The equipment can also be used as a diesel burnback system by cleaning the waste oil for use as a diesel dilutant and reducing the cost of diesel fuel with each litre of waste oil added.
