The Splatch range of embeddable Rf antennas from Antenna Factor, and supplied in Australia by Clarke & Severn Electronics , are now available in the Medical Implant Communication Service (MICS) frequency band.

Centred at 403MHz, these Rf antennas are designed to cover from 402-405MHz, making them suitable for MICS as well as other standard applications.

Unlike many other compact Rf antennas, the Splatch range exhibits good stability in proximity to objects and persons, utilising a proprietary grounded-line technique to achieve solid performance in a compact surface mount package.

Splatch Rf antennas are RoHS compliant, and can be assembled by hand or automatically.

The antennas measure 1.1"L x 0.5"W x 0.062"H, exhibit a 50-ohm characteristic impedance, and have a typical VSWR of less than 1.9.
