Omnetics Connectors now offer a robust Latching Nano connector on 0.025" (0.635mm) spacing. The rugged Nano connector, available from Clarke & Severn Electronics , has a positive locking mechanism that can be operated with one hand. Based on Mil Spec (DTL-32139), utilising the same material and components, but replace the cumbersome retention screws with the Omnetics original latching system.
The Latching Bi-Lobe Nano connectors have passed all the shock and vibration requirements of the MIL-DTL-32139 standard. These robust easy to handle miniature Nano connectors are available with overmolded strain reliefs, flexible cabling options, panel mount housings and EMI shielded cabling.
