Cincom to launch latest version of Priority at Business Software Show
Cincom Australia , a leading supplier of business and manufacturing software, will launch the latest version of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for small to medium enterprises (SME) at the Business Software Show in Sydney and Melbourne.
Priority Version 11 provides a competitive edge through cost effective and efficient use of a single system that supports the complete business process and is designed specifically to fulfill the needs of SME that sell, manufacture or distribute products and services.
Priority 11's additional features and enhancements are all designed to enable manufacturers to provide an improved service to their customers and achieve improved productivity of their own operations through new online and communications capabilities.
Some of the new enhancements include:
* Business Rules Generator - define warning messages, error messages and email messages are activated automatically when certain conditions are met in a given format
* Data Generator - preset values that will appear automatically in a form's columns when certain conditions are met
* Query Generator - defines retrieval and sorting conditions for individual forms
* Word Document Generator - expansion of the Word template facility
* Business Process Management - work processes can be defined graphically in a flow chart
* Improved OLAP reports
* Improved recording of provisional entries for cash flow forecasts
* Customer Relations Management - a new sales opportunities facility for managing and tracking the progress of marketing campaigns and support for the display of sales opportunities in a Microsoft Excel funnel chart
* Support for customer barcodes in the Customers Parts form
* Improvements to delivery scheduling
* Production and Costing - freezing MRP planning and online Backflush
* New Fashion Model
* FAQ search engine.

In other news, Mills Display recently won a ‘Highly Commended’ Award at the 2005 Manufacturers’ Monthly Endeavour Awards held at Doltone House in Sydney. Mills Display won its award in the ‘Technology Application of the Year’ section for ERP implementation of Cincom's Priority product.
