Now stocked by Cigweld Transmig 200i and 250i welding inverters are versatile devices that can perform three welding processes from the one unit, including GMAW/FCAW (MIG), MMAW (Stick) and GTAW (Lift TIG).

These welding inverters provide a number of functional and safety features that ensures they are suitable for serious tradespeople and fabricators looking for a complete welding package that is reasonably priced.

Even light gauge aluminium jobs are made easy with 200i and 250i inverters, as the ergonomic, well-balanced design of the TWECO Fusion MIG gun ensures smooth feedability. An optional TIG torch can also be plugged in for high performance stainless or mild steel applications.

Transmig 200i and 250i welding inverters also feature Power Factor Correction (PFC), a widely recognised method of reducing the electrical power consumption of inverter power supplies and allowing maximum performance to be achieved for a given input.

PFC makes the power source within these inverters more efficient, providing power savings of up to 50% on annual power costs over other conventional based machines.

A Voltage Reduction Device (VRD) is also included. This electrical safety device protects users against the risk of electric shocks. It works by reducing the open circuit voltage when not welding to all but eliminate the potential of electrocution.

VRD is covered by both AS60974.1 and AS1674.
