International construction equipment manufacturer Chicago Pneumatic has introduced a new range of portable and stationary generators.
The new generator range will complement the company’s existing portfolio of tools and equipment, while strengthening its position as a complete partner to the worldwide construction industry.
To be rolled out during the first half of the year, the new generators offer a wide range of options to meet the diverse power needs of the construction industry in demanding environments across geographical markets.
Portable petrol generators
Chicago Pneumatic’s new portable petrol generators (CPPG) are designed for use by contractors working in various locations and levels around a construction site. Robust and user-friendly, the CPPG generators feature a simple handle design for labour savings as well as convenience, engine alarms to protect crucial components, hour counter, maintenance-free battery, and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) function to improve the quality of electricity supplied.
Made very robust with extra frame reinforcement, the generators include a large capacity fuel tank (up to 25L/6.6gal), that is also reinforced to minimise the risk of damage leading to potential spillages. The CPPG units also feature extra protection of sensitive parts such as the alternator, muffler and electrical panel. The generator is also fully compliant with EU noise regulations for the benefit of contractors working in Europe.
Chicago Pneumatic’s new stationary generators (CPSG) can serve a variety of stationary applications in the construction industry as well as in mining and industrial sectors, with a wide range of application-specific options available.
Key features of Chicago Pneumatic’s new stationary generators include frame-and-canopy design, high capacity fuel tank offering easy and fast connections for external filling, optional automatic filling kit, advanced control panel enabling users to control and operate remotely, and a rust-proof canopy bolstered with extra protection for sensitive areas of the unit.
CPSG stationary generators are capable of operating at high working temperature, with the units designed to perform at 100% load at 40°C ambient temperature. Excellent accessibility and serviceability via large removable 45° doors; installation-friendly design thanks to dual-position outlets, eco-friendly operation as a result of a spillage-free frame, internal filling inlet and the provision of easy, clean drainage of all liquids, are some of the benefits of the CPSG units, which are also designed for fast, easy and safe on-site and off-site handling. Smaller units are fitted with forklift slots.
