CHEMICAL hazard information is only as good as the number of people that can access it.
Chem Alert says its new software, helpline and optional intranet, solves the problem of making complex chemical storage information easily accessible across all levels of a company.
The Chem Alert Intranet will be demonstrated at the Queensland Safety Show from June 21 - 23, 2006 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Chem Alert, a division of Risk Management Technologies, says their program makes it easy to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Chem Alert 2 software provides Material Safety Data Sheets for all on-site chemicals and generates compliance reports.
Companies can easily identify locations and quantities of dangerous goods and hazardous substances and address storage incompatibilities, placarding and Hazchem calculations.
Chem Alert 2 is more than just software, however. Subscribers get access to highly qualified professional advice about chemical spills, environmental data and technical assistance, 24 hours a day.
The Intranet is an optional extra. It provides a user-friendly interface that allows access to Chem Alert information to any authorised user in the organisation, in PDF format.
