CHASE Engineering has released the LCM Systems waterproof, portable transducer readout.
The Model TR200/2 microprocessor-based instrument is designed to display the outputs of load cells, pressure transducers, etc., having full bridge configurations with sensitivities between 0.75mV/V and 7.5mV/V. Bridge resistances down to 85Ω are permitted.
The fully sealed keypad allows settings of all functions, including set zero, scale, decimal point, LSD blanking, filtering, calibration and peak hold.
The relevant parameters for up to 10 different transducers can be stored in designated EEPROM channels via the keypad and the calibration factors for "intelligent sensors" are automatically applied when those sensors are plugged in.
The TR200/2 is powered by an internal rechargeable battery which provides at least 35 hours of operation with a 350Ω bridge. A battery charger is supplied.
Factory fitted options include serial communications, data logging, printer interfacing, analog output and trip relays. Waterproof operation is ensured by use of the correct mating connector.
