Champion Compressors appoint Ross McNamara as their NSW State Manager

Champion Compressors  have announced the appointment of Ross McNamara as their NSW State Manager. McNamara will be handling Champion Compressors’ day-to-day operations in the region and introduce a range of innovative programmes for enhancing the Champion Compressors’ technological edge as well as customer care operations.

McNamara’s major focus will be building on Champion Compressors’ reputation in the after-sales care. He aims to have more service technicians on the road in NSW by 2010. Involving clients in the early stages of product development, research and development, inviting feedback and acting on them are some of the further initiatives planned by McNamara. These initiatives will ensure that Champion Compressors’ new product designs meet market needs.

McNamara’s emphasis will also be on forming close alliances with both clients and suppliers. He is also planning to introduce ‘joint-venture’ training with industry partners and has recently added the state government’s new OH&S training modules to Champion Compressors’ training set.

In addition to providing generic OH&S training to staff, McNamara also believes in implementing highly targeted training methods.
