Champion Compressors achieve safety milestone

Workplace safety for employees
Champion Compressors  have chalked-up five years without a lost-time injury. For half a decade, all Champion Compressors’ work places have remained safe and free from serious injuries. This highlights Champion Compressors’ manufacturing excellence and reinforces their reputation as safety-conscious and responsible employers.

According to Champion Compressors Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Coordinator, Simon Meyrick, Champion Compressors nurtures a culture of safety among their employees and considers this their priority.

Champion Compressors adopt a three-pronged safety strategy, implementing initiatives that target safety in the final products, corporate administration and field services. Simon Meyrick added that Champion Compressors are achieving high standards of safety by empowering their staff through regular training, re-enforcement and equality among their employees. This directive comes all the way from the senior management and drives the company’s pursuit of safety awareness.

Champion Compressors’ designed products have built-in safety, while prudent management directives ensure that better practice methods are employed on the shop floor. In the field services sector, Champion Compressors’ service department targets safe operations, even in unfamiliar environments.
