Since coming onto the market over ten years ago, the CSE and CSF range of compressors, available from Champion compressors , have evolved to incorporate the latest technologies, and continue to set the standard in compressor performance.Champion Compressors’ latest line-up of CSE and CSF units deliver reliability, efficiency and environmental performance.
The CSF range of compressors offer the following features:
- CSF range of compressors are available from 11 to 30kW
- The larger CSE range of compressors from 37 to 45kW
- Both varieties of compressors have working pressures of 7.8, 10 and 13bar
- feature IP54-rated electrical enclosures
- The CSF range of compressors have been engineered for 100 per cent duty over extended periods in harsh conditions—such as ambient temperatures of 50 degrees Celsius.
- The compressors also incorporate Champion Compressors’ advanced compressor lubricant, Sullube—providing far-reaching environmental and performance benefits. With an operational lifetime of up to 8000 hours, Sullube reduces the total volume of lubricant disposed into the environment
- Its biodegradability in water means that condensate can be legally disposed (with local water authority permission) into the sewage system, precluding the need for costly oil/water separators
According to Champion Compressors Executive Sales, Service & Marketing Manager, Mark Ferguson, the CSE and CSF compressors have kept pace with technological advancements since their development. “The CSE and CSF ranges have undergone numerous enhancements through the years, while still maintaining all the core features that have made them an industry leader,” he said. “Originally designed as on/off load compressors, the CSEs and CSFs are now offered with a variable speed drive option across the entire ranges—providing notable improvements in efficiency for certain applications. Heavier-duty US-built Sullair airends have been incorporated to improve performance, efficiency and airend life—and to bring these models into line with their bigger brothers.”
In addition to many new enhancements, the CSE and CSF compressors retain many attributes from the original line-up, including a robust and reliable rotary screw airend, and a cyclonic tangential-flow air/oil separation design. “These features, plus a two-stage air-intake filter with cyclonic pre-filter, an inlet control system, and an advanced lubrication system have all helped ensure the longevity of these models,” said Ferguson. “Practical characteristics, such as compact design, and the innovative lift-off cabinet system, remain as import today as when they were first introduced. By continuing to complement our core compressed-air systems with the latest technologies and additional functionality, the Champion CSE and CSF compressor ranges promise to be around for many years to come.”
