Australian compressed-air technology group, Champion Compressors , has appointed automation and process-control specialist, Remtron Automation, as an exclusive servicing distributor for the Albury Wodonga area. The pairing of Remtron Automation and Champion Compressors provides the ultimate combination of country-wide compressor proficiency and first-class local support to local industry in an area covering the north-eastern border of Victoria and New South Wales.
According to Champion Compressors State Sales Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Quentin St Baker, the agreement will provide local industry with compressed-air expertise and support for both sales and servicing. “Industry will benefit from having a service distributor who is able to address the entire pneumatics solution from the compressor itself to the factory floor,” he said. “Remtron’s presence in the area will mean that service technicians of Champion equipment are more locally based and therefore better placed to provide a rapid response.”
