Cedar Creek in Checkpoint Meto alliance

Brisbane-based Cedar Creek Company (CCC) has joined with global article identification leader Checkpoint Meto to add automatic print and apply systems to Checkpoints world leading product offerings.

A spokesman said CCC would team its unique auto label-apply systems with Checkpoints Meto range of industrial barcode label printers and RFID encoders, to provide best of breed label print, encode and apply capabilities.

Worldwide demand for unique labelling and identification of food and consumer packaged goods was fuelling the need for sophisticated print and apply systems that satisfied regulatory compliance requirements.

Together, the two companies offered expertise in article identification, labels, RFID, industrial printers and print and apply systems, that addressed all facets of product identification and traceability.

The product range, to be co-branded by Cedar Creek Company and Checkpoint Meto, and supported by both companies, would provide a range of solutions for on-demand label print and apply across a range of primary products, outer cases and pallets, backed by sophisticated software and RFID ready capabilities., the spokesman said.
