Rather than produce another ‘me too’ printer/ applicator, with tamp-arm, third-party print engine and complicated media path, Cedar Creek Company ’s engineers took a fresh approach to designing a practical and reliable system to simplify the process of automatic labelling of cartons.
The Weigh/Label System is comprised of several discrete hardware modules, which can be deployed as required, allowing maximum flexibility and efficiency in the production of both cuts and cartons.
The manual weigh/label stations can be used in any of three modes: (i) cut piece mode; (ii) carton mode; or (iii) mixed mode, in which the same station weighs and labels each individual piece into a carton, then aggregates the piece data and produces a carton label.
All of Cedar Creek’s systems are of stainless steel construction and are suitable for food production areas.
The use of high quality industry standard components means downtime is minimised. All systems are designed and manufactured in Australia, by Cedar Creek Company.

- Verification scanners to validate barcode readability
- Interfaces provided as standard to
- Cedar Creek’s range of Carton Mergers and sort units
Manual WLS station - can be used in any of three modes:
- Cut piece mode
- Carton mode
- Mixed mode, in which the same station weighs and labels each individual piece into a carton, then aggregates the piece data and produces a carton label.
