Differentiating FeaturesThe Cat Mini Excavator features replaceable weld-on side cutting edges that are hardened to optimize cutting and extend bucket life. Curved side Edges, which even application of digging force, allowing for better control. Bolt-on uniteeth produced from hardened medium carbon alloy steel. Cat Mini Excavator tapered side walls improve loading and reduces bucket drag while trenching. Wear strips protect the wrapper sheet and help to extend bucket life. The Cat Mini Excavator also incorporates large drainage holes in the formed back wrapper design, allowing for drainage and eliminating suction caused by wet, dense materials, resulting in easier dumping. Ground engaging tools are used in most applications where good penetration and high breakout forces are required, also extending bucket life. Cat Mini Excavators have a tool free bucket change system, using an easy hook-up with a removable over-center type retention pin.
