Carl Zeiss Pty Ltd announces a new range of microscope cameras featuring USB 3.0 interface technology, new CCD and CMOS sensors, and higher speed, sensitivity and versatility.
The new ZEISS Axiocam 506 cameras incorporate a new 6MP 1" CCD sensor with 20fps at full frame resolution and an image diagonal of 16mm. Combined with a large number of pixels (2752x 2208px), the camera offers a field of view twice as large as that of 2/3" sensors.
Axiocam 506 mono is recommended for low-light live cell and fluorescence applications where high sensitivity combined with rapid speed is essential. With Axiocam 506 colour, imaging of large samples benefits from a dynamic range of 1:2500, making the finest colour differences and tiniest details visible in lossless quality.
Axiocam 105 colour is a compact and fast microscope camera featuring an exposure time of 100 µs up to 2 s and a live frame rate of up to 47 fps. Suitable for tasks in quality control or lab routines where speed is essential, this camera helps the user acquire colour images with 5 megapixels and document results conveniently.
The popular Axiocam ERc 5s camera is even more versatile with the latest 2014 model now supporting HD output.
