Carl Zeiss recently unveiled a new lens designed for image processing in an industrial context. The Distagon T* 2,8/21 ZF lens offers a number of improved features making it ideal for applications with high optical requirements.
Among the new features of the the Distagon T* 2,8/21 ZF lens is its ability to correct chromatic aberration and provide results without colour fringes. The T* coating of the lens and the flare suppression further improves its output.
The Distagon T* 2,8/21 ZF lens has a focal length of 21mm and a range of 0,22 m-infinity. Its aperture range is f/2.8-f/22 (increasing in half increments) and it has a filter thread of M 82 x 0.75. This lens has a diameter of 87mm, a length of 109mm with the caps on, and weighs 600g. It includes F bayonet (ZF), EF bayonet (ZE), K bayonet (ZK) camera adapters.
