Clairtronic has launched a new range of RoHS compliant EI encapsulated transformers.
The range is designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the new international safety standards, CE marked, with selected parts carrying VDE approval to EN61558.
The manufacturing process of UL94-V0 encapsulation is performed under vacuum thus providing the transformers with good performance within aggressive environments of temperature and humidity change whilst, compare to open construction transformers, they have a lower thermal resistivity which i8mproves heat dissipation.
The transformers are designed with a standard 230V primary suitable for the harmonised European voltage supply and are available with a wide range of two secondaries for series or parallel connection. Power ratings from 0.35VA up to 10VA are included in the standard range.
The new ranges of encapsulated transformers offer an attractive solution for medium and low power electronics circuits. Further power and product ranges are available to suit all applications.
