Carbon Energy appoints new General Manager Technical Services

Carbon Energy  Limited announces the appointment of Justin Haines as General Manager Technical Services.  

Mr Haines brings a strong industry background to the role with more than 20 years of experience in high-level mining, project management and geological services.  

A highly qualified resources executive, he was previously the Principal Engineer and Service Group Manager for leading engineering, architecture and environmental consulting company, GHD Pty Ltd and has also worked in multiple commodity areas including coal exploration, in-situ leach addressable uranium exploration and mining.  

Mr Haines has a Bachelor of Applied Science from QUT and a Graduate Diploma of Science (Honours) from the University of Tasmania.  

He also holds memberships of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Mineralogy (M.AusIMM) and the Australian Institute of Geosciences (M.AIG), and is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland in the area of Geotechnical/Geological (RPEQ No. 9860).  

Welcoming Mr Haines to the company, Carbon Energy Managing Director, Andrew Dash said that Justin’s appointment will be instrumental in leading them into the next phase of growth as they leverage off their recent achievements in Queensland into global opportunities using their proprietary keyseam technology.
