THE Car-O-Liner CR530c inverter spot welder uses a high pressure water-cooled Ctong to provide consistent quality. Now available from Car-O-Liner Australia, the 13,000A welder easily handles most steels found in today’s motor cars.
Supplied with OEM programs and parameters covering most popular cars sold in Australia, the CR530 features a unique control panel that allows the user to manage the entire welding process.
The unit is supplied as a complete system, with four welding cables to provide quick access to double-sided, single-sided and other types of welding without the need to switch tools.
Extremely versatile, the CR530c also does spot hammer welding, nut and bolt welding, carbon shrinking, moulding clip rivet welding and stitch welding. The unit will weld ferro steel, zinc coated steel, galvanised steel and high-strength steels like boron steel.
The versatile control panel has 11 operating models and will hold up to 40 welding programs. The control panel’s memory function also has the ability to hold user set operating modes and their programs, for later recall.
A built-in pneumatic feature presses the welding tips together automatically, when triggered. The compression is adjustable from the control panel.
Electrode pressure is 7 bar (550 daN) and inverter frequency is 2kHz.
Other features include automatic adhesive detection and adjustment, as well energy control which compensates for heat losses by keeping fixed energy levels, according to the thicknesses and quality of the sheets being welding.
Current control compensates for heat loss and variations of the main supply voltage, to ensure consistent current levels.
An optional support arm follows the user wherever the spot gun is placed. The unit can also be supplied with an optional tool panel.
Full service back-up is provided Australia-wide through Car-O-Liner Australia.
