Capital Safety introduces a new range of purpose built fall protection harnesses for the rescue market. The harnesses provide all the necessary functions required by rescue personnel when faced with extreme situations.
Home of the DBI-SALA and PROTECTA brands of fall protection equipment, Capital Safety has now released a new range of fall protection full body harnesses for the rescue/rope access market. Incorporating all the vital features for rescue and rope access work, encompassing rescue and emergency services, industrial rope access, abseiling and tower work, the new suspension harnesses are available in the popular ExoFit NEX or DELTA II styles in a choice of four models.
The new range of fall protection harnesses includes three models belonging to the ExoFit NEX family, and one to the Delta II range to suit all preferences and applications. While the ExoFit NEX models provide all the comfort, safety and ease of use, the DELTA II is a more economical version of the basic suspension harness incorporating all the necessary features required for the job at hand.
Each model in Capital Safety’s new range of harnesses is designed for a specific purpose and with a feature set for different areas of rescue and rope access work. For instance, the fall protection harnesses are available with a chest ascender to aid in ascending working lines, without a chest ascender, and with an integral miner’s belt built specifically for mine rescue scenarios.
DBI-SALA’s i-Safe intelligent safety system utilising RFID technology is built into each harness in the range to track inspections, control inventory and manage information. All the harnesses meet the strict requirements of the AS/NZS 1891.1:2007 standard and conform to AS/NZS 4488.1 & 2 Twin Rope Access Standard.
