SALA, a division of the Capital Safety Group (Australia) , has launched the Adjustable Lanyard, which allows the user to have a shorter tie-off point and minimise free fall distances. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of height safety, confined space and fall protection equipment.
The AS/NZS 1891.1 standards approved Adjustable Lanyards are ideal for use in applications that require the use of various operating lengths of up to 2m. The easy adjuster allows the lanyards to adjust from a minimum of 750mm up to a maximum of 2m in length. This allows the user to set a shorter tie off point, thereby controlling free fall and work positioning distances.
The range is constructed to provide maximum safety. The lanyards are manufactured from 45mm heavy duty grey polyester webbing for durability and longevity and the shock absorbing unit is encased in UV resistant transparent plastic for easy inspection.
All models are available with a variety of end connectors and harness attachment points to suit specific user needs and applications.
