CANON has added a 33 page per minute mono device to its imageRUNNER digital network printer/copier series. Developed for mid range corporate and SME sectors, the Canon iR3300 combines high speed output and 2400 x 600dpi quality with new generation multifunction and finishing capabilities.
Benchmark features include a robust 6GB hard drive with 128MB RAM memory as standard; enhanced optional network connectivity; extensive job build functions; 100 confidential user mailboxes; 300 department ID codes; scan once print many (SOPM); On-Demand Fusing Technology; and super G3 fax capability.
Canon’s entire imageRUNNER range combines productivity-enhancing ‘plug and play’ network functions with impressive paper handling and finishing features.
The mid-range imageRUNNERs combine a maximum paper capacity of 4,550; trayless duplexing; envelope printing; and advanced finishing choices including saddle stitch booklet finishing, single and multi-position stapling and 2 or 3 hole punching.
A truly modular system, the Canon iR3300 base model features can be enhanced quickly and simply to enable network printing, super G3 fax capabilities, network scanning and on-line finishing. Offering ‘future proofing’, all of these modules can be added as and when required.
Cutting print costs and boosting productivity, the networked iR3300 gives instant desktop access, easily handling 10/100 Ethernet or Token Ring connections, and offering PostScript 3 Emulation as well as PCL5e/6 support.
The popular standard job build feature allows users to easily combine originals from disparate sources (hard and soft copy, images, graphics and text) to build a personalised finished document.
Originals of varying sizes can be easily output in one print job. An optional Super G3 fax module provides rapid 33.6kbps transmission speeds.
With a rated monthly output capability of up to 50,000 sheets, Canon’s iR3300 has one of the smallest footprints in its class, its base model taking up just 565mm x 678mm of floor space.
