Camplex , newly appointed distributor for 3D Systems in Australia and New Zealand, has secured bronze sponsorship for the Pacific Additive Manufacturing Forum (PAMF).
Additive manufacturing (AM) is also known as 3D printing so the tie-up was an instant match for Camplex.
The 3D Systems range of 3D printers from Camplex is economical, and suitable for use in offices, labs or design shops. By readily transforming ideas into real 3D models, these printers allow engineers and customers to communicate with confidence.
As AM begins to feature in a wider range of industries, and more frequently, Camplex suggests that it is important for industry engineers, researchers and material suppliers to keep up to date with the latest developments and trends.
A one day PAMF forum will be held in Melbourne on June 7, with half day forums scheduled in Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane later in June 2011.
The information supplied at the event will be particularly useful for those in:
- medical; and
- defence industries.
