Camfil Farr Australia announces two new updates to the popular Farr Gold Series cartridge dust and fume collectors for enhanced ease of use, reliability and safety.
Improvements in Camfil Air Pollution Control’s Farr Gold Series cartridge dust and fume collectors have been made to the filter access door hardware and the filter clamping system, at no added cost to customers.
The new patent-pending clamping system on the door hardware provides greater locking strength while making it easier to close the door. Benefits from the improvement include increased compression leverage to a 50:1 ratio when closing the door, providing a reliable seal with 6.5 psi standard strength and eliminating the need for a high pressure door adder.
The filter clamping system has also been updated with the existing bolted-in brackets replaced by laser-cut, welded-in clamp bar brackets to hold the clamping bars to the tube sheet. The new design delivers benefits such as ensuring highly accurate tolerances and allowing the clamp bars to swing freely, simplifying filter change-outs. The welded bracket design also eliminates bolt holes between the dirty air and clean air plenums. The corner brackets made of unpainted stainless steel help maintain grounding throughout the unit.
