Electrical and Power Transducers, Split Core Current Transformers, Current Transformers

Electrical Transducers
Transducers are used to convert AC Voltage, Current  frequency, or instantaneous power signals to load independent DC signals proportional to measured value. This output signal can then be used to drive PLCs  and or Data Processors.

Features of the Cambridge Electrical and Power Transducers
  • The entire range is housed in two models of the same molded case, simplifying panel design and installation.
  • Triple Current and Voltage, Watt Hour, Watt/Watt Hour, Var Hour, Var/Var Hour transducers consist of a power transducer and integrator housed in the 100mm (4”) case to produce both analogue and pulse output
  • Other models are housed in the 50mm (2”) case.
The Translite designed range of quality transducers fully complies with International British and Australian standards IEC688 and 414, BS6253 and 5483 and AS1384 having an accuracy of class 0.2.

Split Core Current Transformers
  • Split Core Current Transformers are unique and are designed to meet the growing demand for installation into existing networks
  • The Split Core current transformers allows installation without disconnecting cables or busbar circuits.
  • Split Cores are ideal for Retro-fitting and are therefore used extensively in Energy Management and Power Factor Correction industries.
Series 80 Split Core Current Transformers - A range of moulded case Split core current transformers with in-built terminal covers. Primary ranges available up to 5000A with 5A secondary as standard.

Multi-ratio Split Core Transformer - A unique current transformer featuring four in-built ratios. The split core is resin encapsulated and is suitable for 100-200-300-400/5A,.

Series 30 Split Core - Moulded case current transformers offering 3 current transformers in one moulded case. Suitable for primary current from 40A to 800A using cable primaries.

Series 10 Split Core Current Transformers - Low cost moulded case current transformers with primary currents from 60A to 300A

Series 15 Split Core Current Transformers - Two small moulded case current transformers suitable for primary currents from 1A to 500A using cable or bar primaries.

Series 17 Split Core Current Transformers - Moulded case current transformers with primary ranges from 1A - 500A and 1A  or 5A secondary. Suitable for 30mm busbars or cables up to 26mm diameter

Series 19 Split Core Current Transformers - Moulded case current transformers with primary ranges from 400A-2000A and 1A or 5A secondary. Suitable for 50mm or 60mm busbars or cables up to 50mm diameter.
