Calm Aluminium , established in 2002, markets products and services to the aerospace, defence and toolmaking industries and offers technical advice on correct materials and alloys for the related markets.

Calm Aluminium now represents several metal supply companies in USA and United Kingdom which includes Copper & Brass Sales, Modern Plastics and British Aluminium Tubes as well as special cast aluminium products for the aerospace and defence industries. Calm Aluminium has recently achieved full aircraft approved vendor status for BAE Systems Australia.

Calm Aluminium offers aluminium sheets, aluminium plates, extrusions and custom designed extrusions for all industries. The alloy range is from 1000 to 8000 series and also includes other products such as stainless steel, special steels, titanium, copper and brass metals.

Calm Aluminium can supply M1 cast aluminium mould plate of up to 762 millimetre thickness. Calm Aluminium supplies materials in exact quantities and size and reduces weight and machining times compared to the high weight ratio and machine times of tool steel.

Calm Aluminium has completed a number of projects which includes material requirements for sub contractors in Australia to Lockheed Martin for the Joint Strike Fighter Program, Stainless Steel parts for the ESSM project, Reflector project for the CSIRO and NULKA decoy program.
