Calibration & Instrumentation Services ' provides a wide range of low to high pressure testing services for both devices and applications.

The company's pressure testing services are done through calibrated reference sensors, which can handle pressures between –1 to 700 bar (-100 to 70,000 kPa).

Various pressure testing services are available including:

  • measuring / generating from – 97 kPa to 70,000 kPa (700 bar) of pressure
  • graph results to show non-linearity, hysteresis and repeatability
  • data logging
  • monitoring rates of pressure change (eg. leaks)
  • capturing maxima and/or minima of pressure range
  • adaptor for plastic extruder pressure sensors (eg. Dynisco)
The approximate accuracies (reference uncertainties - 95% confidence level, cover factor of 2) of the company's calibrated reference sensors are as follows:
  • ± 1.2 Pa from 0 to 1000 Pa
  • ± 0.025% of reading plus 0.01% FS, –100 to 100 kPa
  • ± 0.025% of reading plus 0.01% FS, –100 to 2000 kPa
  • ± 0.025% of reading plus 0.01% FS, 0 to 10,000 kPa
Note these measurements are based on the company's use of pressure testing devices that provide for a temperature compensation of between 15° to 35° C.

The accuracy of a reading outside the compensated range for temperature above the ambient range by –10° to 15°C or 35° to 50°C is  < ±0.001% reading/deg C per reading.
