Sirenza Microdevices has unveiled SGA-9089Z, which is a high IP3 medium power discrete Silicon Germanium (SiGe) transistor, designed for operation from 50-4000 MHz. The SGA-9089Z can be biased over a wide range of currents (50-170mA) to achieve various levels of noise, power, and linearity performance. The SGA-9089Z is an extension of Sirenza’s high-performance, low-cost SiGe discrete portfolio.
The SGA-9089Z features a maximum gain of 23dB at 880 MHz and 15dB at 2440 MHz, a P1dB of 23.7dBm, OIP3 of 3.1dBm and a Noise Figure of 3.1dB at 2440MHz. The SGA-9089Z is externally matched for optimum narrowband performance, includes an internal 1000V ESD protection circuitry and high input overdrive capability; up to +24dBm.
The SGA-9089Z is an ideal solution for medium power PA applications in Cellular, PCS, GPS, Fixed Wireless, and Pager systems. The SGA-9089Z’s exceptional performance and low cost, makes it well suited for high volume applications. The SGA-9089Z is offered in Sirenza’s RoHS and WEEE compliant SOT-89 package.
