The choice of model of drill guard required will be determined by the type of drilling machine and the maximum and minimum length required from the fixing point on the non-rotating quill to the point of the drill.
Model BT drilling machine guard is made from injection moulded high impact polycarbonate which offers clear and safe vision through body and visor. In the operating position the guard is securely locked in the closed position by a spring-loaded plunger pin assembly, when released the guard hinges up allowing instant access for drill and chuck change. All Cleervue drillguards comply fully with BS EN 292, "Safety of Machinery" Adjustable Guards.
