To compliment their existing ranges of Cleervue and Safeind machinery safety guards, CPR Safe - Ind are pleased to announce that they have been appointed as sole Australian importer and distributor of Horizon dust and fume extraction equipment that is manufactured in the UK.
Horizon International manufacture a comprehensive range of extraction and air filtration equipment which has applications in a wide range of industries including aerospace, CNC production machining, schools, foundry, food industry, steel fabrication, pharmaceutical production and general engineering. Horizon offer air extraction and air filtration systems
Two products which have particularly attracted interest are the Filto-Bench down draft workbenches and the Panda Dust and Fume Cart.
The Filto-Bench range is manufactured in three levels of “weighting” and can be used in laboratories right through to heavy industry applications. The Filto-Bench range is used for removing dust, abrasive grinding dust at the point of generation.
The Filto-Bench forms the actual workbench and with bench top made with mesh, slots, or steel grid pattern depending upon the required use. The Filto-Bench is able to have rear extraction, a surrounding hood and overhead lighting with a range of filter options available.
Filto-Benches can be manufactured to order and are available in standard sizes from 0.7 x 0.7M up to 1.9M x 1.0M. CPR Safe – Ind are currently supplying one 2M x 2M with rear ancilliary ducting.
The Panda Dust and Fume Cart is one of four portable extraction and filtration models available from Horizon. The Panda extraction equipment comes with a Smog Rambler arm (stay in place extraction tube) with a reach of 2 or 3 metres with several styles of extraction hoods available, including one with an incorporated light. A range of filters are available to suit the type of dust.
