The ENCLOSURE MILLGUARD Model EM/1, EM/3, and EM3/T, available from CPR , have been specifically designed to promote efficient and confident machine operation; to enclose dangerous milling cutters and restrict flying swarf and coolant.

Two independent framed assemblies fitted with tough 5mm Polycarbonate visor are mounted on adjustable table rails on either side of the machine table by high tensile 'T' bolts which are supplied. Each guard hinges on a pivot bracket and features the same unique cantilever system employed on the cantilever millguard.
An integral locking mechanism holds the guard in the closed operational mode, a quick release plunger pin allows each section to swing and hinge aside to give immediate and open access to the entire work area. All vision panels incorporate angled return leading edges that restrict flying swarf and coolant to the bed area of the machine.
Model EM3/T is designed for Turret Milling Machines and has the additional feature of a rise and fall right hand side window to give clearance on pendant type control panels, the front panel also has a sliding window to enable manual operation ofthe turret-head lever.
Rear Guards suitable for Model EMG that provide total enclosure protection are available.
